POWERFUL, PFAS-FREE PROTECTION

DetraPel can add water-repellency, stain-resistance, mildew-resistance, and fade resistance to automotive interiors at the factory. We work with industrial partners worldwide to provide powerful PFAS-free coatings which are designed to add a low-cost, low-liability addition to your existing manufacturing process.

LEARN MORE

DetraPel HYDRO-TEXTM 1000 is powered by SiloalkoxyurysilaneTM , a water-based nanoparticle technology designed to develop a breathable, durable, and superhydrophobic repellent coating for textiles. It is a safe, non-toxic, fluorine-free (C0) treatment optimized for use on cotton, linen, rayon, polyester, denim, nylon, spandex, & more.

INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS: Automotive seats, carpet & floor coverings, interior lining, door panels, dashboard, head liner, car seats, & more.

ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF YOUR MOTOR VEHICLES

Our water-based coating solutions offer improved durability and functionality. Together we can make your automotive surfaces extraordinary. DetraPel PFAS-free coatings provide consumers the protection they need while adding value to the products you make.

PROVEN PERFORMANCE

DetraPel’s protective coatings repel liquid and blocks stains unlike any other coating. Repellency tests can measure resistance of fabrics to wetting by water. ASTM testing protocols measure the angle of contact and rolloff resistance to a single water droplet. DetraPel exceeds industry standard levels on many fabrics, making it one of the only superhydrophobic coatings that does not contain fluorochemicals.

FINISHES INSPIRED BY NATURE

The revolutionary nanotechnology behind DetraPel is based on the ‘Lotus Effect’. This refers to the water repellency exhibited by superhydrophobic lotus leaves. Lotus leaves have waxy microstructures called “papillae” that do not allow water droplets to settle onto their surface, causing them to bead up and roll right off.
